Active Hope is about finding, and offering, our best response to the crisis of sustainability unfolding in our world. It offers tools that help us face the mess we’re in, as well as find and play our role in the collective transition, or Great Turning, to a life-sustaining society.
Active Hope, the book, guides readers on a transformative journey designed to strengthen their capacity to act for life on Earth. While reading the book alone can bring great benefits, the strengthening journey it offers is enhanced by the company of fellow readers.
Transition Plymouth is running the Active Hope book group over 4 Saturdays facilitated by Klaudia van Gool and Elly Stuart.
Sessions will run 9.15 for 9.30 start till 13:00.
The venue will vary between University of Plymouth and the Unitarian hall and we will send confirmation of that when you book. Please book your place through Transition Plymouth: email@example.com
More info can be found here: http://www.activehope.info/
The books will be for sale at the first sessions, though people will need to read before the session ideally but perhaps they can borrow one.
These sessions will be run on a gift economy basis: they are freely given as we want to bring this work out there, yet we ask to appreciate our time and efforts with a contribution you feel is appropriate for what you receive.
